Founded by the fourth generation of the Family, Dominio de Eguren was conceived as a project to produce fine wines and offer them to consumers at a reasonable price. Under the classification Vinos de la Tierra, Dominio de Eguren is distinguished from the rest of the wineries by its rigorous selection of vineyards situated in fabulous settings in the best production areas of Spain, advanced in age and with limited yield.
The wines of Dominio de Eguren come from a rigorous selection of vineyards controlled by our property and situated in the main wine areas in Spain, close to 700 m in altitude, ranging in age from 30-70 years and controlled production. The varieties are Tempranillo, known as Cencibel, Airen and Macabeo they match perfectly to the growing conditions. Harvest is done manually from late September onwards, always under the supervision and quality standards set by Eguren family, thus obtaining berries with a high content in their skins of polyphenol in red varieties and terpenes in whites.
